About Chickasaw Veterinary
Center

Chickasaw Veterinary Center has been offering outstanding livestock and pet care in Southern Mercer County and surrounding counties, including eastern Indiana for over 30 years.

We offer a wide range of services for domestic pets of every breed, and yes, you can "get a nail trim with that."   Our Staff has compassion for making sure your cats and dogs are well taken care of and all your questions are answered to make sure you have all the tools needed to care for them. Come for the service of care, but stay because you're a part of the CVC Family.  We look forward to welcoming your pet to our family.

In our clinic, you will find a variety of products for all your livestock needs.  We carry Crystal Creek, Impro, and Dr. Paul's products for our organic clients.  We take pride in education on proper nutrition. We offer after-hour services for large animal clients and minor emergencies in small animals that may arise.

Dr. AJ Luft

Owner Of CVC

Dr. Luft earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 from The Ohio State University. He came to Chickasaw Veterinary Center in 1998, became a partner in 2003, and is now the sole owner.  He has provided veterinary care to both large and small animals for 25+ years.  For the past 20 years, Dr. Luft has expanded into organic veterinary care.  In his free time, you can catch him at home raising high-quality grass-fed beef cattle, tending his garden, or enjoying time with his wife, Jan, and their two children Paul and Erin.  After the work is all done his loyal Yorkshire terrier, Gracie, helps end out the day in her favorite place, his lap.

What can I expect during a routine office visit?
You can expect your pet to be weighted and then checked from nose to tail.  Including but not limited to: ears, eyes, skin, and joints.
